About project
The Public and Cultural Diplomacy Project in India is designed to enhance the European Union's engagement and cultural influence across three primary areas: Policy, Education, and Culture and Partnership Outreach. By leveraging strategic partnerships and multiple platforms, the Project is well-positioned in India to foster diverse engagement, facilitating meaningful dialogues, cultural exchange, and sustained collaboration. Ultimately, this initiative aims to build lasting diplomatic ties and promote a deeper cross-cultural exchange between the EU and India.
The objective of the EU Programmes database is to engage and involve alumni in topics relevant to EU-India relations and to amplify the impact of the European Union’s programmes and initiatives involving Indian students, researchers, and professionals. This database will function as a network and knowledge-sharing platform that leverages the expertise and experiences of individuals who have participated in EU-funded programmes.
Project Dates: December 2024 – December 2027

Upcoming Events
Each year, Indian students selected for Erasmus+ programs travel to various European countries for academic mobility. Before their departure, some students face challenges in travel preparation and understanding academic expectations abroad. The pre-departure support will be a contact point for students to address their queries regarding studies, cultural adjustment and visa application preparations.
